There's that saying, "Too much of a good thing..."

Moderation of good things is not my style though, so, after devouring The Happiness of Pursuit last week, I needed more from Chris Guillebeau.

This week I read The $100 Startup: Reinvent the Way You Make a Living, Do What You Love, and Create a New Future. The title alone sounded like a pretty tall order, and maybe it is, but I've still enjoyed the read.

In true Guillebeau style, Chris makes his case through story-tellling. The book is made up of true stories of entrepreneurs who started businesses from scratch, with relatively little in the way of financial capital.

Now, I'm not really venturing into the "startup" biz at the moment, so some of the specific insights laid out here weren't necessarily relevent to what I'm working on. Regardless, the stories were inspiring, Chris's tips were helpful, and I finished the book feeling motivated to continue creating and connecting.

Bottom Line: Whether or not you're planning your own startup, The $100 Startup is a quick, inspiring read.
